 It is not always necessary to provide us with a word format file for translating. You can therefore send us your text to be translated in whatever form you want.Word files and paper documents We do not charge any extra for translating your text from a paper draft or from files that can be opened and processed using Microsoft Word. For processing of your Word files we replace the original text with the translation during which all formatting takes place. Formatting and layout of your original text remains the same. The files we deliver can be used directly (it may be necessary to check page breaks, since ,for Word, this sometimes depends on the type of printer). The text to be translated is not formatted or only roughly formatted in accordance with the draft provided when translating your text from a paper draft. An exact layout and formatting, which is as close as possible to your paper draft, is available at an extra cost. The costs depend on the complexity of the layout and can be quoted as an option if necessary. Desktop Publishing (DTP) We work with the following DTP programmes: - PageMaker 7.0 - FrameMaker 7.0 - QuarkXPress 4.03 - Publisher 2000 - InDesign 2.0 - Freehand 10.0 There are no extra costs if we deliver you the translated texts in Word format from your DTP files. However if your require us to insert the translations into your DTP file, there will be an extra cost charged ,which can be quoted as an option if necessary and depends on the DTP programme and complexity of your text layout. Resource files (RC files) We can also process your programme files if necessary. Since we have programming experience we can easily integrate your programme files into our system. For the localisation of your windows software we generally use the language of the software giant Microsoft. We are also familiar with the specialised terminology of Apple and other software houses. Prices for these services are available on request. HTML files We process your internet data using either MS FrontPage or directly as ANSI files. The processing costs depend on the complexity of your internet file and can be quoted if necessary as an option. Other file types Processing of ASCII, CorelDRAW, Visio, PowerPoint, FrontPage, Excel or Access files is also possible.
